Turbo VW Rabbit (aka Tub II)

Well, it looks like I couldn't help myself when it came to aquiring another car that was hillclimb ready.  I do plan on making some changes to the suspension as it has more oversteer that I would like for my driving style.  The close ratio/4.25 final drive 5-speed pulls the car up the hill while always being in the right gear.  The Turbonetics turbocharged 1.8 liter/8-valve running 23-25 psi of boost helps a little also.

Some photos... this is what it looked like when I purchased it (I started to remove the previous owners' [plural] car numbers and misc. stickers.  Since then, I have installed the front air dam, installed my own numbers, and added a seat brace.  I do plan on redoing the suspension (as mentioned) and clean up under the hood.  Nothing major planned as this is a fast turn-key car.
